There’s an increasing trend in scary versions of fairy Tales. Last week I showed you some art from the upcoming "Alice in Wonderland" movie. Creepy. I also talked about American McGee’s Alice characters. Extra Creepy. I have also found some creepy twisted fairy tale characters from Seth Mcfarlane’s Monster figures series.
Now comes a horror movie of Humpty Dumpty. Normally these types of movies get no buzz, like an ill-fated "Gingerdead Man" starring none other than Gary Busey, but this one is directed by the guy who did the awesomely bad "Snakes on a Plane," and is produced by some of the people who worked on "Lord of the Rings." Crazy? Or crazy awesome.
Here are some posters for the upcoming sure to be horror classic Humpty Dumpty.
Here’s the synopsis: When an alien mother is "abused" by two rednecks in the deep south, she gives birth to a half-human, half-alien creature that eventually goes on a murderous rampage.
Sounds cool right? The only thing that I was a bit disappointed in was their week tagline for the film, “He should have never been born.” With all the awesomeness involved with Humpty Dumpty they couldn’t have come up with anything better. Check out these tags I made up, and tell me they aren’t cooler.
When you sit on a wall, you better make sure he's not there.
Who’s the egghead now?
You’re about to have a great fall.
He’s dying to put you back together… after he tears you apart.
Call all the king’s men, tell them to bring their pitchforks.
He’ll scramble you.
It’s about to turn evil-side up.
How do you like your eggs? Evil-side up.
He’ll crack you up.
When he falls, everyone will know…
I also feel that you can make anything sound scarier by adding an ellipse. Check it out.
