This past Thursday the producers of "The Office" released "Parks and Recreation." It's filmed in the same "mockumentary" style of "The Office." It stars Amy Poehler from "SNL" in a very Michael Scott type role, Rashida Jones (Karen, AKA Jim's ex from "The Office") and Aziz Ansari, a comedian who is from the very best episode of "Flight of the Conchords," where he played a very racist fruit salesman.
Take a look at the pilot for yourself, but my initial reaction is that there is definitely some potential. Let's hope so for NBC's and Amy Poehler's sake.
